About Me

MC: I was born on south side of Chicago to student parents. We moved around a bunch until we finally stopped in Japan when I was 13. At that point I thought my life was ruined, but the food was good and school was interesting and it was overall pretty ok. In 2004 I started studying biochemistry at BYU. While at BYU, I danced with the BYU Ballroom Dance Company (thus the source of the blog title). In 2008 I graduated from BYU and started studying medicine CCLCM. CCLCM turned out to be free, but med school still kicked my butt. In 2010 I met the man of my dreams on LDSsingles.com, and I married him the next year. Now I've graduated med school and am about to start my Family Medicine residency in Tacoma, WA, while Josh spends a few months in Afghanistan.
